Vikings Event Cards Expansion

Fyrd Cards Deck can be reshuffled
Several players have asked if the Fyrd cards run out once all cards have been drawn from the Fyrd draw deck. NO, Fyrd cards never run out. If the draw deck is empty, please reshuffle all used cards to form a new draw deck.
Europe, Australia and New Zealand Sales Receipts Sent. Check for Address Changes!
Everyone who pledged for the English language '878 Vikings' game should have received an email with their Sales Receipt attached. Please check your shipping address and contact us only if it has changed. If you have not seen your SR, please check your Spam folder or send us an email to sales@AcademyG....
Shipments to Australia, Europa, and New Zealand
The container ship for Europe is scheduled to arrive in Hamburg on Sept 29th from where it will be shipped to Happy Shops. They will begin shipping the games from Germany with DHL by the week of Oct 16th.
Australian games are on their way. They were loaded on the container ship ANL WAHROONGA, which departed Shanghai Sept 22nd and are expected to arrive in Sydney Oct 5th. We expect Let's Play Games to begin shipping the games with Australian Post by the end of the week of Oct 16th.
New Zealand games are also on their way. They departed port aboard the container ship Aglaia on Sept 25 and are expected to arrive in Auckland Oct 12th.

French, German, Italian, and Spanish Language games.
We have been told by the printer that the non-English games will be ready to ship from Shanghai by the end of October. We thus expect them to arrive in Europe by late November, in time for an early December delivery by our publishing partners!

Why sure I'm a board game player,

But just all jumbled together! Like to see some stuck-up blogger boy

Well, I should say.
Friends, let me tell you what I mean.
You got one, two, three, four, five, six faction trays in your game.
Trays that mark the diff'rence
between truth and a fib, that rhymes with LID and that stands for COOL!
THEY ARE FACTION TRAY LIDS!
(Many do not know that these are the original 'Ya Got Trouble' lyrics from the Musac Man!)
Game Component and Summary Sheet
In the campaign we listed two planning maps. During the final project development phase we converted this into a Game Component and Summary Sheet, since secret planning is not really a factor in this game. The printer included only one sheet in the game, so we are making a hi-res file available for download to allow players to print additional Summary Sheets if desired. Relic Quest is an advanced scenario where the Vikings have to capture 3 Relics from the English. The English are able to place Rumored Relics to mislead the Vikings. The Vikings win if they control all 3 Real Relics at the end of the 5th Round. Click on the image below to access the high rez file.
Several gamers who have received their copies of 878 Vikings feel that it is too difficult to win with the Vikings in the Northumbrian Raids Scenario. We have made the following changes for those who want to give the Vikings a bit more power. These include the Vikings receiving 3 Berserkers and 6 Norsemen during each Viking Faction's turn. Plus, only Fyrd cards 1-12 are used.

USA Shipping should be completed by Tuesday August 29th.
If you have not received your UPS tracking number by Wednesday morning, please contact us at [email protected]. POB and AP shipments will be sent on Tuesday, since we need to do these by hand and cannot auto-import them into our system like UPS addresses.
Canadian Shipping
All Canadian pledge supporters were emailed their Sales Receipts Friday morning.
PLEASE REVIEW THE SHIPPING ADDRESS.
If your shipping address changed, please reply with your correct address to [email protected].
Add 'ADDRESS CHANGE' in the subject line.
The games are scheduled to be sent to Buffalo this coming Tuesday. From there they will be shipped to Snakes and Lattes in Toronto, who will package you game and ship it to you. Using this method, we guarantee that you pay not customs or duty fees! :)
European Shipping Vessel Details
YM Warmth
European bound 878 Vikings - English language games will be loaded onto the ship YM Warmth, which is scheduled to depart Shanghai 9/2 and arrive in Hamburg, Germany 9/30. The containers will be transported to Happy Shops, from where they will immediately be shipped to our European, Russian, Middle Eastern, and South American supporters.
You will be receiving your Sales Receipts in the coming two weeks, where we will ask you to review your shipping address.
The YM Warmth is registered in Hong Kong and you can track its progress on its voyage to the USA on MarineTraffic.com. This is a very interesting site, since it gives you a picture of the incredible amount of traffic on the ocean at any given time. Enter YM Warmth in the left hand search icon window and you will see its location!

We hope to see many of you at GenCon this week. I will be in our Dealer Hall booth #2921. Gunter will be showing some sneak pre-views of our upcoming Agents of Mayhem game!
For those of you picking up your 878 Vikings Kickstarter pledges, please remember that you MUST bring your GenCon Pickup Sales Receipt that we emailed to you. It must be a printed out sheet, digital versions cannot be accepted.
GenCon Events and Tournaments
We also have over 20 Event Leaders running over 100 Events and Tournaments in our main Gaming Hall booth which is directly next to the Hall C HQ and Registration booth!
A majority of our events sold out long ago, but you may still be able to sign up for some at the convention! We may also be running some additional unscheduled games, so come by to see us! :)

878 Vikings GenCon Pickup & Shipment Update

Most USA backers should have received their 878 Vikings Sales Receipt.
Unfortunately, our Quickbooks Enterprise system developed a glitch and sent the wrong email body to 80% of you. We have been on the line with tech support most of the day with no resolution. Below is the email that should have been sent with your Sales Receipt. Please read through it carefully. Thanks so much!

The first containers with games are expected to arrive at our warehouse in the next two weeks. We plan to begin shipping when we return from GenCon, on August 21.

We will then acknowledge your request by re-sending your Gencon pickup Sales Receipt and instructions.
You will then need to print your Gencon pickup Sales Receipt and bring it with you to GenCon.
If you do not email us and you are not on our pickup list, we cannot give you your game at GenCon.
