The first containers with 878 Vikings games are expected to arrive at our Ohio warehouse in the next two weeks. We plan to begin shipping when we return from GenCon, on August 21.
USA supporters will be sent their Sales Receipts tonight. PLEASE REVIEW THE SHIPPING ADDRESS. If your shipping address has changed, please immediately reply with your correct address to [email protected] by Wednesday August 9th! Add 'ADDRESS CHANGE' in the subject line.
Canadian supporters will receive their Sales Receipts next Monday.
GenCon Pickup You can also pick up your pledge at GenCon. You will need to email us back BY WEDNESDAY AUG 9TH that you wish to pick up your pledge. Add 'GENCON PICKUP' in the subject line.
We will then acknowledge your request by re-sending you a GenCon pickup Sales Receipt and instructions.
You will then need to print your GenCon pickup Sales Receipt and bring it with you to GenCon.
If you do not email us and you are not on our pickup list, we cannot give you your game at GenCon.
Non-USA supporters attending GenCon can also pick up their orders, but must email us for their GenCon pickup Sales Receipt.
Other English Language Game Shipments The European shipment has been packed and is scheduled for container pickup. The Australian/NZ shipment is also ready and will be added to a partial container. Asian orders have been sent to VFI and will be shipping when they return from GenCon.
French, German, Italian, and Spanish languages We will be posting non-English rules in future Updates. We still expect these games to ship to you by October as listed in the Kickstarter campaign. We will post updates as they progress.
Ragnar and Lagertha Several pledgers asked that we post painted Leader miniatures as historical painting references. Below are the last two miniatures that are included in the Leaders Add-On. We posted pictures of the other Leaders in previous Updates.

878 Vikings Shipping Vessel Details
UMM Salal
878 Vikings - English language games have been loaded onto the ship UMM Salal, bound for the USA. English language games bound for Europe should ship next week.
The UMM Salal is estimated to depart the Shangai port by July 13th and is estimated to arrive in Vancouver by July 29th. The games will then get transported to Ohio by train, where we have everything set up to ship immediately!
The UMM Salal is registered in Malta and you can track its progress on its voyage to the USA on MarineTraffic.com. This is a very interesting site, since it gives you a picture of the incredible amount of traffic on the ocean at any given time. Enter UMM Salal in the left hand search icon window and you will see its location!

German, French, Italian, and Spanish translations for all game components are almost complete and are due to the printer by July 15th. We plan on shipping these games to Europe in mid-August.
Painted Miniatures Pictures
Several pledgers asked that we post pictures of painted Viking Leader miniatures as historical painting reference guides. Jarek has painted the first 7 leaders and will finish Ragnar and Lagertha by the end of the week.

We have a few 878 Vikings Campaign Surveys that remain uncompleted. (This Update is being sent to everyone, so please disregard if you have completed your survey!) For those few of you who have not completed your survey, a link to your CrowdOx survey has been sent several times to your Kickstarter account's email address that you had on file at the time you pledged for '878 Vikings'. Please be aware that we are unable to deliver your Kickstarter rewards unless we receive your completed survey through our pledge manager CrowdOx. If you are experiencing issues with completing your survey, please email us at [email protected]. If we cannot resolve the issue directly, the knowledgeable staff at CrowdOx surely can!
Non-English Language Pledge Survey Deadline
The Viking invasion is imminent and the preparations are almost complete! If you want a French, Spanish, Italian, or German language version of '878 Vikings', it is important that you complete your pledge survey by July 5, 2017. We will be compiling the survey data to transfer to our non-English publishing partners on this day. After July 5, pledgers will only be able to select English language games when completing their surveys.

1066, Tears to Many Mothers on Kickstarter
Origins Report
We just returned from the Origins Gaming Convention where we ran over 87 Events and Tournaments! We had 4 tables set up with 878 Vikings and they were being played continuously for the entire convention! We often had gamers lined up waiting to play. Thanks to our 18 Event Leaders, everything ran very smoothly and without one hitch!
Our printer sent us 10 complete copies of 878 Vikings for us to inspect and approve. All looked great and we gave permission to begin packaging the entire order to prepare it for shipping to the USA by early July. :) We gave these 10 copies to reviewers, who will be posting videos in the coming weeks.

1066 - Tears to Many Mothers
My friend Tristan Hall is running a Kickstarter campaign for 1066 - Tears to Many Mothers. This is a fascinating game based on the Battle of Hastings, in which Harold Godwinson, King of England, faces a deadly challenge from William the Bastard, Duke of Normandy. 878 Vikings Game Samples Received
We have received the first printed English language games and Add-Ons from our manufacturers for approval. If we approve everything, they will begin packaging the games and prepare them for shipment to our fulfillment warehouses worldwide! We then expect to begin shipping orders in late-July, a full month earlier than stated on Kickstarter! And only 2 months after the end of the campaign.
I just took these pictures in my office this morning. Now we all want to play!!! :) We have posted more pictures below!
The German, French, Italian, and Spanish rules, cards, summary sheet, and box translations are progressing well. We hope to ship these games from China to our publishing partners in Europe in early August. Again, earlier than expected.
878 Vikings Events being run at Origins
We will be running 87 Events and Tournaments at Origins, including 878 Vikings. Sign up for an event, or stop by our booth to learn the rules and play a bit! There is nothing as satisfying as ravaging your way across England, laughing at the lamentations of your opponents!
We have our main island booth in the Vendors Hall #221. We also have a 10 booth island in the Gaming Hall #GH400.

The miniatures look great and are easy to move on the map.
The 60mm Viking Models are gorgeous! The attention to detail is phenomenal. This is why W.Britian is the leading model company in the world. Wow. Thanks to Ken Osen for putting together this beautiful diorama (not included with the fully painted models).
We only have ~40 of these limited collector's models remaining. If you would like a set, please email [email protected] and we will send you an invoice.
We received manufactured samples of the Giant Maps, the Miniature Leaders Add-On, the Miniature Buildings Add-On, the complete 878 Vikings Game, and the Wooden Card Holders Set. Still being printed are the Summary Sheets and the Treaty Board.
