Production Pictures
Our manufacturers have begun to ship us game production samples. All molds are finalized, dies are being made, cards being printed, and more. We are fully on schedule to deliver 878 Vikings on time! Below are some more pictures of the game and Add-On components that we have received this week.

GIANT Map - Wow, it barely fits on our 4 foot wide table. Note: The mounted game board is also very big. The Giant Map is only meant for those gamers who have big tables and like BIG games! :)

My good friend Michael Ozon co-designed one of our most popular games in the Conflict of Heroes series - 'Price of Honor - Poland 1939'.
Michael is also COO for PHALANX Games, a UK based publisher, with Polish roots. PHALANX is offering the 20th Anniversary Edition of Mark Simonitch's very popular game 'Hannibal'!
This updated and reworked version of the classic game includes miniatures, new scenarios, updated art, and new cards and variants. Plus, Phalanx is including with the game the long awaited expansion - 'Hamilcar', which takes you to the battlefields of the First Punic War.
Please take a moment to look at this wonderful game, I think that you may really like it. It has unlocked many stretchgoals and has less than 5 days remaining in its campaign. Click here to look at Hannibal.

'878 Vikings' Survey Updates

Treaty Boards for 1754, 1775, and 1812
Many supporters have asked if they could add the hard to find Treaty Boards for other games, in the Birth of America series, to their pledge. CrowdOx has now added these to your CrowdOx survey options. You can add these to your pledge. Note: If you pledged for a Birth of America game as an Add-On (1754, 1775, or 1812), you will automatically receive its corresponding Treaty Board at no cost!

Support multiple copies of a pledge level
If you supported a pledge level, you can now add multiple copies of that pledge level or any other pledge level. For example, if you supported Loki's Trick, you can now pledge for 2 or more of these. Just follow the survey link sent to you in your original email.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for this message:
Click the 'Retrieve it Here' link and a box will pop up letting you input your Kickstarter email. CrowdOx will then send you a fresh link to your survey.
Clicking on the link to your survey in the email you receive will take you back to your confirmation page. From there, you will find instructions for reopening your survey.
60mm W.Britain Detail Models Available
A survey programming error showed that all 60mm Detail Models were sold out. This error has been resolved and a limited number of these collector items have been made available again. If interested, please follow your original survey link where you can add items to your pledge.
Below are some pictures we took of production Leader Add-On miniatures, the 15mm game units, and the Giant Map!!! These are production products, meaning that this is what you will receive with your orders! All look incredible! Note the detail work on these miniatures. Those that like to paint will really appreciate them.

You will be receiving your survey tomorrow from CrowdOx. We need you to complete the survey, as quickly as possible, since this is where you specify which language game you want, your Shipping Address, and any Add-Ons and extra games you want to include.
For those of you that pledged money, without choosing a pledge level, you will now be able to choose a pledge level and Add-Ons.
All extra items which you want to add can be paid with Credit Card or Paypal.

The game production is progressing well! Here is a picture of a complete set of dice. :)
We will keep you updated with more pictures in the coming 4 weeks. We hope to have the printer ship us production samples in late May!

Surveys being sent this week
All pledge supporters will receive a survey by next Monday. In this survey, you will be asked to fill in your shipping address, which language you want (English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish), and if you would like to add any other games or Add-Ons.
If you already increased your pledge level to cover an Add-On or extra game, you will be asked to specify what you increased your pledge for. You will then owe nothing and your data will be filed. If you wish to add more items and did not increase your Pledge Level amount, you will be asked to pay for any remaining amount due with a credit card or Paypal.
All surveys need to be completed by April 30, 2017.
We expect to ship English language games worldwide by August. We expect to ship non-English games by October, because of the extra time it takes to translate all of the game components.
No-Reward Supporters
For no-reward supporters, who pledged $1 or more, you will receive a separate email, that will allow you to add a copy of '878 Vikings' with all stretch goals, plus any additional Add-Ons and/or games. You CANNOT order just Add-Ons without including a copy of '878 Vikings'. Even if the system allows this, we will have to cancel and not process your order.
Kickstarter Fees
You owe NO Kickstarter Fees, no matter if you pledged extra money during the campaign or in the survey. These fees are all paid by Academy Games.
Shipping
Your shipping will automatically be calculate by the survey. If you owe any shipping, you will be asked to pay with credit card or Paypal.

'878 Vikings' Stretch Goals Summary

We are in the final days of the '878 Vikings - Invasions of England' Kickstarter campaign. This incredible game has been in development for over three years and has been playtested by groups from around the world. They all have said that this could be the best game in the Birth of America/Europe series! But with your support, the game has become even better. All games will now include 110 miniatures, beautiful new dice and so much more.
In addition, pledge supporters will receive Kickstarter Extras which include the thick Treaty of Wedmore Expansion Board, the beautifully detailed Wooden Card Holders Set, Leader Movement markers and English Ship tokens. We will print enough of these for our Kickstarter supporters, plus a small overflow amount. These Extras will not be available through normal distribution channels and are very limited.
You will also receive the nine Game Expansions which were unlocked through the stretch goal process. These enhance game play in unique ways and will be packaged together, along with an extensive rule book, in the 'Viking Age Expansion' box. The Viking Age Expansion will also be limited and will not available through full distribution.
The $65 Kickstarter Freya's Favor pledge level includes the core 878 Vikings game, the Kickstarter Extras, and the Viking Age Expansion described above, which if available and purchased separately, would cost $152 MSRP.
Our entire Academy Games team thanks you for your help bringing this wonderful game to fruition. Please tell your friends about this project, since we have less than 3 days left in the campaign.
